Bring your wee ones along and enter the Wilde Whippet 1km kids’ running event!
Entry is FREE and you can enter on the day, there is no need to pre-register.
Starting and finishing on the beautiful sands of Ōhope Beach, the Wilde Whippet 1km is a chance for your fun-loving kids to take part in their first running event experience!
Wild Whippet 1km participants will receive:
- A finisher certificate
- A finish line healthy edible treat
The maximum age for Wilde Whippets is 10 years of age on event day. Under 6 years must be accompanied during the event by a parent or legal guardian.
Feel free to join your children as they run/toddle/waddle their first-ever running event, or if you’re keen to give running a go, why not try the 5km distance? You will be back in time for the children to start their race!
