Gather up your little speedsters and join the Wilde Whippet 1km kids’ running extravaganza!
The best part? It’s FREE, and you can sign up on the spot – no need for pre-registration!
Kicking off and wrapping up at Port Ōhope Wharf this 1km dash starting at 4:30pm is a perfect way for your fun-loving kiddos to dive into the thrill of their very first running event!
The course departs the wharf heading west on the grassed area alongside Harbour Road before a U-Turn at Otao Reserve and winding through the marked reserve trail back to the finish line on the Port Ōhope Wharf.
Every Wilde Whippet runner will snag:
- A shiny finisher certificate
- A deliciously healthy treat at the finish line
Just a heads up: Wilde Whippets must be 10 years old or younger on race day. If your little one is under 6, then they will need their parent or legal guardian as their trusty sidekick!
